Falling in Love – How and Why People Fall in Love
“As famous Mr Albert Einstein said “Gravitation cannot be held responsible for people falling in love” Its a real true fact that it is still not described why people fall in love ?..”
The experience of falling in love allows us this escape; temporarily. The essence of the phenomenon of falling in love is a sudden collapse of a section of an individual ego boundaries, permitting one to merge his or her identity with that of another person. Most of us experience a sudden release feelings, that explosive pouring of yourself into your beloved, and the dramatic surcease of loneliness accompanying that dramatic surcease of loneliness accompanying that collapse of ego boundaries. and we feel ecstatic.
What is love ? Where does it come from ? Why do we love ?
Now there are no fixed definitions on How to fall in love and WHY ? all this happens in relationships. Still, since the beginning of time, love has remained a mystical phenomenon, the foundation for art and music. Is it magic or science; supernatural or natural ?
The Oxford English dictionary describes love as “An intense feeling of deep fondness or affection for a person or thing.” It describes falling in love as “to develop a great love for”.
So again, Why do we love and what is passion of loving and why is the intense desire between two people sometimes called ‘Chemistry’? To help make some point clear let us understand better that “Falling in love and love by itself are two different feelings. Falling in love can be a flash of emotions or a first step towards love.”
Falling in love is a strong instinctive attraction to the person of the other sex. if it mutual and a couple works at their relationship, that feeling can grow into love one day. Falling in love is crazy. It is very physical, and it is when knees get weak and temperature rises. Love is calm, comfortable and mental.
Usually we fall in love with a person we find attractive and appropriate for us, but also to someone who demonstrate that they are attracted to us. This creates a situation where a great opportunity is open to us for self expansion. The fact that they are attracted to us offers a significant opportunity. When we perceive this, we feel a surge of exhilaration. when you meet someone under conditions that are highly arousing- a political demonstration, turbulence on a plane, a stimulating performance, a time when the body is stirred up and excited, you tend to experience attraction at a heightened level. This effect is well documented but the explanation for it are very controversial. I tend to believe that we come to associate the arousal of the situation whet this person and our own self-expansion.
Love is the Drug
Science has myriad fascinating explanations for what happens, objectively , when people fall in love. But the explanation are not sufficient to encapsulate that ‘ something that it is like’ to be in love. Throughout the 20th century, western culture was highly influenced by a group of psychologists who claim to have established a science of human relationship, stressing the importance of the unconscious as well as the conscious subject of love.
Signs of Falling in Love
Flushed cheeks, a racing heartbeat and clammy hands are some outward signs of falling in love. But inside the body, chemical signs do indicate that cupid has fired his arrow. Let see Stages of Falling in love..
3 Stages of Falling in Love
Stage 1 : LUST
Lust is driven by testosterone and estrogen. testosterone is not confined only to men. It has also been shown to play a major role in the sex drive of women. Fisher says these hormones “gets you out looking for anything”.
Stage 2 : ATTRACTION IN LOVE
This is the love struck phase when people fall in love and they can think of nothing else. They might even lose their appetite, sleep less, preferring to spend hours at a time and day dreaming about there new love.
Stage 3 : ATTACHMENT IN LOVE
Attachment takes over after the attraction stage, if a relationship has to last. You cannot possibly stay in the attraction stage forever. Else, they would never get any work done. Attachment is longer lasting commitment and is the bond that keeps couples together when they go on to have children. In this stage the nervous system releases two hormones that re said to play an important role in social attachments.
Also that Readiness is an important stage of falling in love. A person needs to be ready in order to get in love. This means not being involved in another relationship and psychologically ready to get into another relationship. Love is an emotion that is and will never be under our control. You have to do nothing to fall in love. and often, there is nothing you can do to stop falling in love, it is very illogical : you suffer from splashes of emotions doubts, cannot fully control yourself; all because of a person usually almost don’t know. being in love proves natures power in us.
